God’s Image was founded in 1990 by John Byon and Sandy Byon, beginning as a small group of 12 members. Our journey started in 1989 with a Thanksgiving musical featuring elementary school children at a local church. What we thought would be a one-time performance turned into something much more, fueled by the children's excitement and dedication.

In 1990, we officially became God’s Image, and what started with 12 children has grown into a vibrant community of children, teens, and young adults. Based in Los Angeles, we've expanded our reach to include branches in Washington D.C., San Francisco, Arizona, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver (Canada), Seoul (Korea), Sydney (Australia), Atlanta, Dallas and Brazil.

Today, we have about 1,500 students around the world who come together every week to praise Jesus through singing and dancing. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus and create a culture that reflects His love and teachings. Through music, we aim to spread the gospel and inspire hearts everywhere.

갓스이미지는 1990년 변용진 대표와 샌디변 사모에 의해 12명의 멤버로 창단되었습니다. 그 시작은 1989년, 한 교회에서 초등학생들을 중심으로 진행된 추수감사절 뮤지컬이었습니다. 단 한 번의 공연으로 끝날 것이라 생각했던 이 사역은 아이들의 간절한 소망과 열정으로 이어지게 되었고, 이듬해인 1990년 '갓스 이미지(God's Image)'라는 이름으로 정식 출범하게 되었습니다.

처음 12명의 아이들로 시작된 이 팀은 35년이 지난 지금, 어린이, 청소년, 청년팀으로 성장하여 미국 LA 본부를 중심으로 워싱턴 DC, 샌디에고, 샌프란시스코, 애리조나, 시애틀, 애틀랜타, 달러스, 서울, 밴쿠버, 브라질, 호주 등 지부를 두고 있습니다. 현재 약 1,500여 명의 다음 세대가 함께하며, 춤과 노래를 통해 하나님을 찬양하고 있습니다.

갓스이미지는 예수님의 제자를 세우고, 예수님의 문화를 이 땅 가운데 이루어가는 것을 비전으로 삼고 있습니다. 춤과 음악이라는 매개체를 통해 복음을 전하며, 다음 세대를 하나님 나라의 주역으로 세워가고 있습니다.
